How 7 Brew Rewards Works

7 Brew Rewards gives you 100 points for every drink you buy. At 1,000 points a free drink of any size drops into your account automatically. That works out to one free drink per ten purchased. Points expire twelve months after your last order, so occasional visitors lose them.

Correcting what this page used to say

An earlier version of this page told you to download the 7 Brew app. There isn’t one. 7 Brew’s support page is blunt about it: they don’t have an app and are working on it. We got that wrong and we’re saying so here rather than quietly editing it out. There’s no official app, so treat any “7 Brew app” in an app store as unaffiliated.

7 Brew’s documentation currently points to several tools and pages that have moved or been retired. Where an official link is broken, we say so and give the workaround.

Points or punches? Both, sort of

This is the single most confused thing about the program, and the confusion starts with 7 Brew.

The rewards page describes points. The support page still describes punches: ten drinks, one free. Both are official and both are live this week. They describe the same thing at different resolutions, because 1,000 points divided by 100 points per drink is ten drinks.

Use the points version. It’s the one your account actually runs on, and it’s the one that matters when you’re checking a balance.

At the window, give your phone number before you order. The Brewista can see your points and any available rewards, and applies the one you name to your check.

Is it actually worth joining?

One free drink for every ten paid is about 10% back. That’s ordinary. Most coffee loyalty programs land in the same range, and a few beat it.

Join anyway, because the cost is a phone number and the birthday drink is free money on top. But don’t reorganise your week around it, and don’t let anyone tell you this is unusually generous. It isn’t.

The twelve-month expiry is the part worth watching. If you visit twice a year, you will probably never see a free drink.

Double Points Tuesday has ended

Double Points Tuesday ran weekly and doubled your earn rate. 7 Brew confirmed that Tuesday 2/17 was the final one, and pointed to new offers and rewards coming soon.

If you’re reading an older guide that promises double points on Tuesdays, that guide is out of date. Nothing has replaced it yet.

The 27 December 2025 cutoff

Points from the old rewards system stopped transferring after 12/27/2025. If you had a balance in the previous program and never enrolled in the new one, those points are gone. If you did enroll in time, transfers took up to 48 hours to land.

Missing points

7 Brew acknowledges a display bug from the platform migration: some accounts show wrong point totals, or no available rewards even when rewards exist. Their line is that the points are safe and it’s a display problem.

7 Brew asks members to allow around five days after signup before reporting a points problem. After that, use the contact form at 7brew.com/support and include your rewards phone number, the date and time of the visit, and which stand you went to. Vague reports get slow answers.
